About Personalised Pop Art

Personalised Pop Art is the brainchild of Simone Aylward and David Storey, who have worked together in the design and art industry since they met 24 years ago.

David Storey is the creative director of Personalised Pop Art and all our artworks carry David’s seal of approval. After graduating from Middlesex University with a BA Hons degree in art and design David worked in the music industry becoming well-known for his bold, innovative and influential sleeve designs. These included designs for The Specials, The Housemartins, The Lightning Seeds, Norman Cook, Blondie, Sir Elton John and Phil Collins.

In recent years David’s artwork has featured in numerous exhibitions, including shows at The Brighton Museum and Art Gallery; The National Portrait Gallery and The Cork Street Gallery, London.

Simone Aylward has over 20 years design experience working in London and Sydney, specialising in fashion and lifestyle as well as the hotel and restaurant industry. She has art directed numerous editorial features for lifestyle and fashion magazines including Elle and Vogue, and several lifestyle books.
